The 2010 SuChin Pak Comeback Story

As we know some good news: In the vein of Betty White's comeback earlier this year, my favorite MTV News reporter SuChin Pak comes back to the VMAs after a two-year hiatus.

I, as a Pak diehard, am glad MTV News reversed their previous mistake in terminating her back in 2007.

This piece further proves her comeback:

ROCKER CHIC: Pin ($5.95), leopard shirt ($14.95), necklace ($7.95) and ring ($5.95) all available at H&M.

http://style.mtv.com/2010/09/06/suchin-pak-hm/

The VMAs Pre-show is about 3.45 hours away. Go SuChin Pak!!!!

Update: Pak went with choice 2, which I didn't care for.

MTV News Rankings Predictions 2008-2009

Time for the Samsung MTV News Rankings Fantasy League Preview Show. It will be a 42 week season from 08.04.2008-05.25.2009, with a 1-week Christmas/New Year's Break.
Here are my End-of-Season Projections for the MTV News rankings.

Mock Draft Order:
1. Kim Stolz [21 WKS@#1, 14 WKS@#2, 1,300 PTS]

2. Tim Kash [16 WKS @#1, 12 WKS@#2, 1,135 PTS]
3. Sway Calloway [3 WKS@#1, 9 WKS@#2, 800 PTS]
4. John Norris [2 WKS@#1, 6 WKS@#2, 532 PTS]
5. Kurt Loder [0 WKS@#1, 1 WK@#2, -356 PTS]
6. Liz Hernandez [0 WKS@#1, 0 WKS@#2, -563 PTS]

SCORECARD: Tim Kash and Kim Stolz both will dominate the polls, but Sway and John "Evil" Norris have plans of their own, and Liar Norris could play his way into the picture (however, he needs to be fired from MTV News) if Kash and Stolz both choke. Neither Liz Hernandez nor Kurt Loder will never see the #3 spot in the poll, let alone #1.

John Norris's days of being a regular TRL and Top 2 fixture are over. Sway Calloway will be the see-saw correspondent in the polls. So, expect a Kash-Stolz showdown in the polls this year... and maybe all the way to week 42. This poll started in September 2004, in reaction to the impending NHL Lockout. My Hypothesis: Kim Stolz will wrestle the crown away from Tim Kash, but the Kash Machine will try everything he can to keep the trophy in his hands.

NOTE: This poll is not directly affiliated with MTV, MTV News and its Correspondents, or Samsung.

MTV News unfairly fired Pak (Pt. 1)

And finally as promised... a Special Comment: There is a reason why I am aggravated by this cheap act of war and terrorism, and this SC (Special Comment) shows its true colors. This Special Comment discusses why SuChin Pak was unfairly, wrongfully, illegally, and intentionally fired by MTV News execs, but John "Playing Time Jackkniver" Norris is allowed to stay at MTV News. So why MTV News acted too far out of bounds on firing Pak when they should've fired "Fascist" Norris?! Wake Up, MTV News! You could've been better than that, as you fartheaded MTV News Management made a colossal mistake in firing Pak. This is on exactly the same magnitude as Sammy Sosa left the Cubbies, Albert Pujols leaving the Birds on the Bat, Babe Ruth went to the NY Communists (Yankees) from the BoSox, Bill Buckner costing the BoSox Games 6 and 7, Don "Bill O'Reilly" Deckinger screwing the Cards the WS win in 1985, Steve Fartman costing the Cubs the NLCS in 2003, Aaron Boone hitting the GW HR in 2003 to give Fidel Castro's Yankees a trip to the WS, The Writers' Strike, and Don Imus's firing.

The alleged culprits in this very severely despicable crime were Bill O'Pervert, John Gibson, John Norris, Neil Cavuto, Rupert Murdoch, Roger Ailes, Derek Jeter, Mike Mussina, Roger Clemens, Jorge Posada, Henrik Lundqvist, Jaromir Jagr, Rick DiPietro, Wilson Betemit, Melky Cabrera, Joe Giardi, Pat Robertson, Rush Limbaugh, Joe Torre, Jason Giambi, Mariano Rivera, Alex Rodriguez, Ann Coulter, Rudy "Nazi" Giuliani, Robinson Cano, Hideki Matsui, John McInsane, Brian Cashman, George Steinbrenner, Ocean MacAdams, Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, David Tyree, Plaxico Burress, Chad Pennington, and Sean Dummity were all accomplices in the act of illegally firing Pak from MTV News. This was an act of terrorism and war, and as punishment for your mindless atrocities, MTV News should be forced to reinstate her... and fast!

Let me remind you, MTV News had lost any and all credibilty when Pak left MTV News in November 2007. So, for your extremely disrespectful act of causing this very tragic crime, a sickening crime of firing your best reporter of all-time at MTV News, you have just lost your credibilty as a reliable and decent news organization. This event was not necessary, and, therefore uncalled for-- however, both Ocean MacAdams (MTV News VP) and John Unreliable allowed this catostrophic category 10.0 Eartquake-type event to happen.

MTV News's election coverage was decent on 02.05.2008, but had SuChin Pak not been unfairly forced out, she would've been the one doing the TRL reports. The Grammys and the VMAs/Movie Award Pre-shows will lose its crediblity, respect, integrity, truthiness, and accuracy because Pak is no longer wearing an MTV News jersey. It's time to hold the MTV News management accountable, as they have made out of bounds moves before, but never on this huge of a scale. This was a firing decision at MTV News taken too far out of bounds and out of context. Maybe the MTV News staff were on crack cocaine when they pulled this fatal, sick, sly, and slick pulling a fast one when they attempted and actually did fire Pak for Mickey Mouse reasons. That is much, much worse than yelling "Bob Saget!" when the St. Louis Blues lose.

Why MTV News didn't fire John "Fascist Right-Wing Chickenhawk" Norris? IDK, but since he has a lot of seniority and has secret treaties with the Devil and his bosses at MTV, I guess they had to embarrasingly cut Pak off the roster as if a positive test for drugs occured. MTV News, the goddamn time to fire Norris was 4 years ago, not in a few years. Mr. Fake News Reporter needs to be deported to China and see how he likes it there! Mr. Faggot Norris has done too much harm to America and MTV with his distorted articles of news. He has distorted 830+ MTV News reports, stories since Mar. 2003 and has taken steroids since October 2000, has perjured/slandered/libeled the news ever since SuChin Pak was hired in May 2001 and continues to do so, giving lots of lies while he was at MTV News, and finally screwing other MTV News correspondents, such as Iann Robinson, Gideon Yago, Sway, Kurt Loder, Alisha Davis, Liz Hernandez, Nick Zano, Tim Kash, and Kim Stolz, along with Pak countless times since Jan. 2002, cheated out of on-air TRL/10-to-the-hour playing time reps millions of times, and Mr. Screw Everyone Out Of Playing Time Norris keeps kicking other reporters off of the MTV News Correspondent On-Air Depth Chart playing time list. This was the work of the Devil, Fixed News Channel, Norris, Limbaugh, and Communist China. Well, I have fucking had it with his evil, unlawful, cheating, Hitler-esque ways of manipulating the MTV News Depth Charts.

As much as Bill Belichek was cheating to circumvent NFL rules for the Patriots as far back as 1999, John "Dirty Rotten Steroid-Taking Cheater" Norris was 12,000,000,000x worse than Belichek's Patriots will ever be. I used to like Norris until he started his nasty sly tactics toward SuChin Pak, slowly started in 2002, but was neutral on that matter until April 9th, 2004, and because of that fateful day on TRL in April 2004... deliberately jackkniving Pak out of reporting TRL, and pruposely screwing her out of a 3-2 weekly win over Mr. Evilman on the day before Pak's new show on April 10th, 2004, My Life (Translated), I offically hate that crude Mr. Cheater from that day on, and still do hate that horseshit correspondent today, and I always will. Norris has consistently screwed "Angel" Pak out of MTV News on-air playing time at least 78 times since April 2004, including at least 15 grave and severe offenses of those infractions, and another 43 counts of torpedoing other MTV News Correspondents out of playing time. He is unfit to be an MTV News reporter, and should be terminated from his duties permanently for your sick, dumb, illegal, immoral, indecent, obscene, and boner-headed maneuvers at MTV since 1988, and moreso since 2004. Mr. Hitler Norris, you had a hand in the following: Nipplegate Halftime Bowl in which Janet Jackson flashed her right breast, Screwing MTV News correspondents out of playing time, and continually distorting reports and stories. Thus, MTV News Management, you should pink-slip this crud ass out of MTV and then the INS and Secret Service both should deport him to China, Saudi Arabia, or Siberia. Norris is guilty of crimes against humanity, treason, and lying to distort the news reports, so his time for firing has come. MTV News, please let it happen now! The VA Tech coverage was great and hard-hitting, and it was the best team in town (it beated out Fox Noise, CNN, MSNBC/NBC, ABC, and CBS for coverage) during that incident, mainly because SuChin Pak was leading the pack over the others... but let's stop for a second. If Pak wasn't even reporting the Voices For Virigina Tech special produced by MTV News, then MTV News would've been a lot worse.

Well, sure enough, John "Crossdressing Queer" Norris and Bill O'Spin Doctor both invaded the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona during the Super Bowl Halftime Show and streaked buck-naked from the goal line to the other end of the back line of the end zone before he was escorted off the field to safety. But when Burress caught the GW TD pass in the 17-14 upset of the Patriots, Norris invaded the field yet again and made the call. So Norris provided the Giants win over the Patriots. This was the same insane Nazi-admirer Norris that caused the Rams to lose the 2002 Super Bowl vs. the Patriots. REMEMBER: Pak had class and a 12,000+ IQ, and Norris doesn't have any brains, and he as an IQ of -1,000,000.

Back to the Pak's Firing Controversy: It turned out October 3rd, 2007 was the last of seeing the 100% percent accurate, unbiased, talented, no-nonsense, dead-on, pretty-looking, fair and balance, non-partisan, 12,000+ IQ, classy, chic, heroic, perfect, angelic, never dull, always interesting, and honest SuChin Pak on TRL or MTV reporting. After that date, they were cursed for that incident of firing the most accurate MTV News reporter ever, and MTV News will have a grave curse on them for 10-15 years, maybe even 20 for this very heinous act. Looks like MTV News got away with this unfair terrorist and bullying act. I hated to see my beloved and 1 favorite MTV News Correspondent of All-Time leave the network unnanounced, and as a result, I have almost boycotted the Greed Network and actually tuned out of MTV and MTV2 all because of some jackass Manager at MTV News fired Pak. I was so upset to see her [Pak] leave MTV News, and it was a really cruel and shameful ending to her very successful 6+ year career at MTV News. I think this event was purposely perpertrated by John "Thief" Norris in May 2007. Tim Kash and Kim Stolz's additions at MTV News did not cause Pak's termination to leave, but some bozos at the 29th Floor at MTV Networks HQ did it instead, and we know who they are. MTV News should've fired Norris instead of Pak. I bet a lot of the MTV audience was pissed to see this moronic event happen, especially me and the Asian-American community, and therefore boycotted MTV for this despicable action. The moral of this Special Comment is about Pak was illegally fired and why Norris is allowed to continue causing wars and havoc at MTV News while getting immunity from a red card. I wish that Pak have a successful job at her next place in employment. Let me assure you time and time again, that these were the sick kind of jokes that the mentally ill tell, the kind that serial murderers tell, the kind that John Gibson tells, the kind that Bill O'Pighead tells, the kind that Sean Hannity tells, and lastly, the kind that John Norris tells. Mr. Norris, why don't you get your sorry ass down to the US-Mexican border to be deported to Mexico by the Secret Service. Looks like you need a history lesson on corruption and scandals, plus MTV News History 101, Mr. Corrupt Asshole [Norris]. You have been a dirty, rotten bastard for too long to be getting away for this recent bullshit on SuChin Pak's firing, so it's time for you to clean, Mr. MTV News Moron. This was an ill-advised move by MTV News, and that's final. So, MTV News Management and John Norris are today's Worst Persons In The Wooorrlldd!

Please let your opinions, good, bad, or indifferent, be heard and known about whether SuChin Pak deserved to be fired from MTV News or not. Also, print it out so you can read it over and over again and give copies to your friends.
Good Night and Good Luck, America.

UPDATE (04.11.2008): John "Al-Qaeda" Norris is still working at MTV News, and he is a Nazi impersonator whose reporting reminds me of Hitler, Goebbels, Stalin, and Ayatollah Khoimeini. He has been aiding Al-Qaeda, Hezbollah, Hamas, and other terrorist organizations. He is a Far-Right smear merchant because he spreads his filth just like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Billo. Even though nobody in the press (or even other bloggers) except me is covering the full scoop on the Pak Firing Brouhaha. As a result, I have boycotted the main MTV channel, and almost done with MTV2 over MTV News firing SuChin Pak. This is a Far-Right Fringe Lunatic tactic to attempt to retain control of the Presidency. This is another reason why you should never, ever, under any circumstance, vote a Repubican in office, especially the Presidency. The Right Thing MTV News should do is reinstate Pak and fire Norris, not the other way around.

Did SuChin quit MTV for good?? by: mattcclark

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0657076//board/thread/100468055/

For three months now, I am still fucking upset that Pak was unjustly terminated from MTV News, and I will continue to update the story as needed. I will not quit bashing MTV News until they fire Closeted Homosexual Norris and/or reinstate Pak. The above post from IMDb shows why MTV News is no longer a credible news organization, and I am not taking sides between Tim Kash and Kim Stolz... but you who I'm rooting against on TRL for MTV News reports? Mr. Moron-- that's who.

I am officially rooting for Kim Stolz and Tim Kash both to be on TRL. It is most obviously and definitely not SuChin Pak's fault that she is fired from MTV News at all-- bottom line: This is not Pak's fault, it is Norris's. No, Pak didn't do it on her own terms like some of the Anti-Pak haters claim. MTV News Management, and the Repubicans and McCain purposely caused it to happen and thus their fault. It is MTV's goddamn fault that shit like this happen, and this wasn't publicly leaked by MTV, Gawker, or anywhere except me. This is not the 1st time I have criticized MTV's news department for shit like this. The War Against John Norris started 4 years ago over him deliberately screwing over Pak out of a TRL report on 04.09.2004, when My Life (Translated) was to be premiered the next day. Pak was supposed to be on that day instead of John "Pinhead" Norris, but MTV News Management, The Far-Right Republicans, Bush and Cheney, and the NY Communists had different plans: to fuck her out of reporting in favor of the Al-Qaeda sympthasizer. I thought this was the biggest blunder committed in the history of Journalism. This serves why MTV is to be boycotted.

I am warning everyone right now that no one should vote for John "Chickenhawk" McCain so that either Obama, Clinton, or Nader can win or at least cut into McCain's margin of victory. If you don't like Obama or Clinton, I advise you to write in a candidate instead of voting for "Filp-Flopper" McCain. Here's the list on why McCain should not be voted for. Pak getting fired from MTV News is another reason why you should vote Independent, Democrat, Libertarian, or any party instead of Republican in the upcoming elections.

The Top 10 Reasons why you shouldn't vote for McCain or Republicans:
10. They are corrupt, closeted homosexuals.
9. They are uninformed and get their news from Fixed News.
8. They are Far-Right whackos who want a return to paddling in schools. (Another Far-Right discipline method used in schools.)
7. Democrats and Libertarians both make better leaders.
6. They caused Pak's firing from MTV News.
5. They rig not only elections, but American Idol and sports shows.
4. Bill O'Traitor is a false Independent because he lies about his party affiliation.
3. They are smear merchants and liars funded by Hannity, Limbo, Billo, Beck, Coulter, and Robberson.
2. They are terrorists.
1. They have a history of behaving like the Nazis and the Soviets.

Stand by for more updates soon.

MTV News Rankings Predictions for 2nd semester of 2007-2008

Samsung MTV News Rankings Predictions for the 2nd semester of 2007-2008

1. Tim Kash [15 WKS @1; 10 WKS @#2; 878 PTS]

2. Kim Stolz [13 WKS @1; 10 WKS @#2; 775 PTS]

3. Sway Calloway [2 WKS @#1; 16 WKS #1; 489 PTS]

4. John Norris [3 WKS @#1; 4 WKS @#2; 357 PTS]

5. Kurt Loder [0 WKS @#1; 0 WKS @#2; -453 PTS]

6. Liz Hernandez [0 WKS @1; 0 WKS @#2; -424 PTS]

7. SuChin Pak [DQ] [7 WKS @#1; 0 WKS @#2; -100 PTS]

SCORECARD: Tim Kash and Kim Stolz both will be battling for #1. Sway has come a long way since September, and will continue to dominate. John Norris has some punch left, so a couple of vulture #1s are possible. SuChin Pak fizzled out after 10/12/2007, and could see a pink slip.

Hernandez and Loder will have -400+ PTS by the time Memorial Day comes.

What Went Right and What Went Wrong

SCORECARD (From August 2007): SuChin Pak will dominate the polls, but Tim Kash and Kim Stolz have different plans, and Norris could play his way into the picture (however, he needs to be fired from MTV News) if the cards fall right. Liz Hernandez will never see the #1 spot in the poll, and neither Loder nor Hernandez will see the light of day this year in the polls, and 2 correspondents finished with negative points. John Norris's days of being in the Top 3 are over. Sway Calloway will be the see-saw correspondent in the polls. So, expect another Pak-dominated poll this year. This poll started in September 2004, in reaction to the impending NHL Lockout. Back then, it was a guessing game as to who was #1? In the 2005-2006 season, it was a dullfest. the 2006-2007 season, the season was shortened due to a contract dispute; however, later on in the shortened season, Pak was the victor of the year.
My Hypothesis: Pak will be the victor again, but Kash and Stolz are lurking close to the prize

What Went Right?

· Tim Kash and Kim Stolz gave SuChin Pak a run for her money.

· Pak did dominate the 1st quarter, but faded the 2nd.

· Sway was the see-saw reporter, but he was more up than down, as evidenced by

Calloway’s 10 weeks at #2, but no weeks at #1.

· Liz Hernandez and Kurt Loder competing for the worst reporter (statistically) title.

· 2 MTV News correspondents finished the 1st semester with negative points.

· Norris did play his way into contention, especially after Week 10.

· The MTV/MySpace Presidential Dialogues were a success.

· Gideon Yago returned to MTV News with a standing ovation.

· Kash and Stolz both were to be all-stars, similar to what Pak did 6+ years ago.

· Pak had the longest consecutive #1 streak.

· 1,000 PTS would be a real possibility.

What Went Wrong?

· John Norris was predicted to have his reign of #1s done, but way off there as he was #1 once and #2 twice.

· SuChin Pak falls from #1 in standings to #4.

· Kash and Stolz both were not predicted to be within 120 Points of #1, but given Pak’s

AWOL of over 2+ months, it did happen.

· John Norris was the main see-saw guy, but was on the down end more than up, despite

him being #1 once and #2 twice.

· Pak was supposed to have a 400+ point edge by the time Christmas rolled around, but

due to s**tty decisions by MTV News Management, Pak was cheated out of her lead by her

evil rival, John Norris; also, Tim Kash has a 51-point lead over Stolz.

· TRL changed its format.

· MTV News fired Gideon Yago back in January 2007.

· Pak went from a Must-start every week to the inactive roster.

2nd Semester Preview of the MTV News Rankings.

· New Rules announced (sometime in February during the MTVNRAC)

· Will Kim Stolz and Tim Kash continue to dominate?

· When will John Norris be fired?

· When will SuChin Pak get back her airtime-- that’s if she’s still on MTV News?

· Will Kurt Loder continue his reign as the worst MTV News reporter?

· Who will end up on top by Memorial Day, 2008?

· Can the MTV/MySpace Dialogues continue to be a success?

· Will MTV News hire another correspondent or two?

Predictions for the 2nd Semester

· Either Kash or Stolz wins the title.

· Tim Kash will have approx. 900 PTS.

· Kim Stolz will have approx. 750 PTS.

· John Norris will have some impact, as will Sway Calloway.

· SuChin Pak sadly will be missed as an MTV News reporter.

· MTV will only get worse.

· Kurt Loder will be gone within the next 6 months to 2 years.

· Bush and Cheney will be impeached.

· TRL will continue with their crappy format.

· Sway will end up with approx. 450 PTS.

· Loder and Hernandez will have -500+ points.

· MTV/MySpace Dialogues are a success.

· MTV News hires a new correspondent or two, like in 2007 with Kash and Stolz.

My Hypothesis: Tim Kash will have his name on the trophy, but Kim Stolz will fight until the very last week for it. Sway might get a chance for the prize, if everything goes his way and both Kash and Stolz have a very lengthy slump (That happened to SuChin Pak earlier this semester.)

NOTE: This MTV News Rankings Preview for the 2nd semester of 2007-2008 is not directly affiliated with MTV Networks, MTV News and its correspondents, Viacom, Samsung, or any sponsors.

MTV/MySpace Debate Thursday.

View from Futuremajority.com:

MTV's Candidate Dialogues Are On Deck

MTV's "dialogues" with the candidates are starting up next week, beginning with John Edwards on September 27th. As we reported here just a few weeks ago, these dialogues have the potential to be the most interactive and informative debates thus far in an election cycle that's seen some decent innovation in how candidates and the public interact. Streamed live over MySpaceTV.com and MTV.com, the debates offer the chance for viewers to provide instantaneous feedback and ask new questions in response to answers provided by the candidates.

The kind folks at Mashable have produced this early glimpse at the MTV MySpace Widget that will allow viewers to rate the candidate's responses in real time.

MTV Widget

have somewhat unreasonably high hopes for this debate, though there are a few minor SNAFUs that are giving me pause.

First, a video on MTV's website describing how to participate was unembeddable here on the FM site (even though MTV supplied an embed code), and information on the event is no where to be found on the MySpace Impact page. I understand that participation requires placing a candidate in your top 8 friends, but beyond that I'm still a bit mystified as to how I submit a question via MySpace. I'll probably end up trying through the MTV website as this seems the least confusing option (though I'm not sure if the candidate rating system is available both at MTV and MySpace, or just on the social networking site.

These were good moderator choices: Gideon Yago, whose political coverage has particularly impressed me as hard-hitting and genuine, is one of the moderators along with SuChin Pak, my 1 all-time favorite MTV News correspondent, and Washington Post reporter Chris Cillizza. I've got a easy time seeing Yago and/or Pak really push these candidates on their answers, something that I think is a requirement for these dialogues to be really worthwhile... Chris Cilliza is a wild card in this equation, and could swing either way.

The third strike is the day and time of the event-- Thursday at noon? Whose got time to watch a live debate on MySpace in the middle of the day? Students are likely in class or roaming campus, away from their computers, and young adults will be at work. These debates should have been held at 7 or 8pm, when everyone is home and has time to sit in front of their computer. The point of making them interactive is to encourage participation, but MTV is discouraging participation by scheduling the event in the middle of the work day.

Despite this, I remain cautiously optimistic. I hope these events will be groundbreaking, though they could easily just fizzle out. We'll find out next Thursday at noon, when John Edwards takes the stage in the first of this live series.

My Version of this story:
The Voting system is different from a traditional poll vote. There are some funny and oddball choices, such as "full of bull," "Canned/Scripted," and more. The timing of the day was dumb-- it should have been at 7, 8, or even 9P EDT, not no fucking noon, as the majority of MTV's and MySpace's target audience will be at school or work.

The selection of the moderators was excellent... as Gideon Yago, whose reports at MTV were mostly politics and 100% accurate, unbiased, and honest-- Iraq reporting included, plus has a political background, so Yago was a good selection. The next reporter, also from MTV News, is my all-time 1 favorite, and the answer to that question is SuChin Pak, who has a background in political science and a lengthy pre-MTV News media resume, was on James Logan High School's Forensics Team, and graduated from UC-Berkeley. Pak, whose is the best female MTV News reporter of all-time (yes, even better than either Alison Stewart or Serena Altschul.) and may very well be MTV News's best correspondent of all-time, along with MTV News icon Kurt Loder.
Also, Pak is my 1 favorite correspondent on MTV News of all-time, and was another good choice to moderate the debate, giver her credentials as a news reporter at MTV and at several pre-MTV positions. What if MTV News didn't acquire Pak in 2001, would MTV News exist now? Think about it, but the answer to that would be that MTV News would not be a major force it is now. MTV News is due to collapse eventually, but it's not happening while Pak, Loder, or Kash are working on the 29th Floor at 1515 Broadway. I am thinking that Pak will be her usual truthful, honest, unbiased, and accurate self on Thursday. But lastly, Chris Cillizza, who I don't care about as much as the first 2 choices, could have some factor. Thank God that Idiot John Norris wasn't chosen to moderate, as he has been a known steroid taker, a lying journalist, and a thief, among other stupid shit he's pulled. Norris needs to be fired from MTV News.

My verdict on the moderator selections: SuChin Pak will be the best of the 3 moderators of the MTV/MySpace Debate w/John Edwards, but Gideon Yago will have a big impact as well. Chris Cillizza, who may or may not factor in, could have the spoiler role.

I will be paying attention to this in the coming days, and when these debates are coming up, I will have my takes on them.

The only knock is the timing of the debate, but otherwise good event to have.

Should MTV News Correspondent John Norris be Fired?

I already have a similar blog about this issue on MySpace. So, let's get to the bottom of this point.
MTV News Correspondents Kurt Loder and John Norris and a few execs that were there in MTV USA's Glory days are the only ones left from the pre-Real World era. But, in the last 3 to 5 years, Norris's quality of reporting has slipped by the wayside-- and fast. I grew up watching MTV when TRL first aired, they still had decent rock videos, and music in general. But when Laguna Beach debuted, MTV went from balanced music to all-rap crap. The MTV News correspondents I saw a lot when I first started watching MTV were Loder, Serena Altschul, Norris, and Chris Connelly. But in 2001, with MTV News in a flux, they acquired who is turning bright today and an imminent all-star in SuChin Pak, who is now the go-to MTV News correspondent. Loder's role after Pak was added pretty much ended his grip of the #1 or even the #2 or #3 slots at MTV News. Norris is the #2 correspondent now, but fell big-time after the TRL reporting slot was almost always filled by Pak.
So there's no telling who is the #2 at MTV News. But their newest additions Hernandez (no more than a #3 at best) and Tim Kash (eventually going to be Pak's main rival at MTV News).
But back to the possible firing of Norris. Norris should be fired, because he is a emo wannabe trying to fit in and his reporting is always blatant lies. MTV News is a legit news organization, however, Norris is a lying hypocrite. Thus, Norris must be fired. He has lied and fabricated the News ever since his 2nd go-around at MTV News, especially after Pak was added. His first few years were okay. Now, I think Norris is a villain at MTV News, as Carson Daly, a former MTV VJ, said on his show, Last Call with Carson Daly had featured in one of his segment. It is time for John "Faggot" Norris to leave MTV News! But hold on a second... the old-time MTV fans would not like to see Norris off MTV, as they think he and Loder are the last of the 1980s MTV figures. But I still support Kurt Loder, even if he has little to no reporting left. On the other long-time MTV News Villain, John Norris, he needs to be fired before it gets out of hand. That, my friends, his (Norris) lies have caused me to turn against him in favor of SuChin Pak, and more recently, Tim Kash.
Kash's presence should mean that Norris and/or Loder could leave MTV News-- at the expense of the old-timers MTV fanbase. The best corresponent MTV News has ever had was not John Norris, but Kurt Loder, or since December 2001, SuChin Pak.
